What Fondly is
Fondly lets a family make a private page for a funeral or memorial, with the service details, RSVPs, a meal roster, a livestream link, messages and photos, and lets guests reply and help. It also offers free guides, a funeral cost calculator and a eulogy writer. Fondly is free for families; Premium is an optional one-off payment.
Family pages
- The person who makes a page is responsible for what it says, and for sharing its link only with people they want to see it.
- Keep your private family link safe: anyone with it can change the page.
- The family can remove guest messages and photos, and can ask us to delete the page.
What guests post
Please be kind. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or that you don't have the right to share, including other people's photos without permission. By posting, you allow the family and their guests to see your message or photo on the page. We may remove content or block use that breaks these terms.
Premium
Premium is a one-off payment (currently $49, or $29 for families referred by a Fondly partner) that keeps a page online for as long as Fondly runs, raises the photo limit and adds eulogy drafts. There's no subscription. Refunds follow our refund policy. If Fondly ever closes, we'll give families at least 90 days' notice and a way to download their page.
Gifts to a family
Guests can give money to a family through the page. Gifts are processed by Stripe and paid to the family member's own account, after Stripe verifies their identity. A card fee is taken from each gift, and guests may add an optional tip to Fondly. Fondly isn't a charity, and gifts aren't tax deductible.
The eulogy writer
Eulogy drafts are written by an AI model from what you type in. Read every draft carefully and change anything that isn't right. You're responsible for what you read aloud or publish. The writer is only for eulogies and tributes, and use is limited to keep it free.

Our guides and calculator are general information, not legal or financial advice. We check them against official sources, but rules and prices change, so confirm anything important with the source or a professional.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Fondly running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms limits them. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us.
