How it works
- Write the way you'd talk. Stories, sayings, what they loved, what made them laugh. Spelling and order don't matter.
- Pick a tone and a length. Warm, a celebration of life, formal, or with a note of faith; three or five minutes.
- Make it yours. Edit the draft, read it aloud once or twice, and change anything that doesn't sound like you.

Questions
Is it really free?
Your first draft is free. Make a free family page for the funeral and you get 5 more drafts, plus RSVPs, a meal roster and a livestream link in one place.
Will it make things up?
It is told to use only what you write, and never to invent events, names, dates or quotes. Read it carefully all the same, and change anything that isn’t right.
How long should a eulogy be?
Three to five minutes is usual, about 400 to 700 words. Choose the length before you write, and check with the celebrant how long you have.
What happens to what I write?
It is used only to write this eulogy. We don’t publish it, and we don’t sell anyone’s details.
